In the last few days, a security issue arose which potentially affects millions of websites.

We worked with our hosting provider yesterday as soon as this issue became public and applied security updates to our website which means that it is not vulnerable to the two issues identified.

  • Our website was NOT hacked or compromised – we did this as preventative work.
  • Our website does NOT store any client/personal data.

If you have any questions or concerns about this, please get in touch, but the summary is, there’s nothing to worry about. Although we are a small business, our website and other computer related systems are managed by a very experienced IT specialist.

Technical explanation:

This post is about the announcement of vulnerabilities under advisories: CVE-2026-109618 and CVE-2026-109619.

We have ensured that the PHP version installed for our website has been updated to the patched version released yesterday, 21 October 2026.
