Although there are currently no mandatory Covid-19 restrictions in place, you may wish to understand what you can expect from a visit to our clinic or a home visit.

Your safety and that of our staff are of paramount importance. We have and will continue to follow all government and NHS guidance. In general, our precautions have always been and will continue to be more cautious than official guidance.

If you are visiting our clinic at The Hive specifically for a Footpal appointment (that is, you are not visiting the centre for the day already):

  • You can wait in the cafe on arrival. This area typically allows plenty of space to maintain social distancing if you wish.
  • If you find it too crowded, there is additional space and seating in the corridor just past the cafe.
  • We will then come and find you for your appointment.

  • The clinic room is spacious, well-ventilated and regularly cleaned.
  • We sanitise the treatment room surfaces between clients.
  • We always wear a face mask and disposable gloves when treating patients.
  • Clients do not need to touch door handles etc.
  • Contactless card payment is available (we also sanitise cash*).
  • Hand sanitiser is provided and you are welcome of course to wear a mask.
  • All instruments are either one-use disposable or clinically sterilised (you can read more about our sterilisation procedures here).

We may change some of these measures or add new ones as we and the centre continually review what is appropriate in light of the latest guidance.

You can expect the same level of care if we visit you at home also.

We are happy to address any questions you may have and we will provide every assistance and reassurance possible before and during your treatments with us.
